David’s Comment: Having a Heart for Israel Should be Normal for Every Believer
Zechariah 8:2 I am Zealous for Zion with great zeal

The reason that you are on the Out of Zion mailing list is that your heart is for Israel, but sadly people like you are the minority in the Church. In light of the above Bible verse, every true Christian should have a heart of love towards Israel, but for the right reason. When many of the dear saints who do love Israel with all their hearts meet another Believer for the 1st time, it is not long before they ask is “do you love Israel?” Of course I am not going to condemn anyone for that, but really it is the wrong way to ask the question. The correct way to ask that question is “do you love the GOD of Israel?” Because if we really love GOD, it should be automatic that we love what HE loves. And it is clear from the above verse and many others that YHVH loves Israel and the Jewish people, no matter how rebellious they are towards HIM. Therefore everyone who claims to be a Christian and loves the LORD, filled with HIS Holy Spirit, should have the same passionate love for Israel and the Jewish people.

Sadly that is far from the reality in most of the Church today and it hs been that way since the 2nd century, following the hijacking of the Ecclesia by the Greeks and Roman imposters that are referred to as ‘the Church Fathers’, most of whom were rabid anti-Semites who made it their mission to un-graft the Church from the ‘Olive Tree’ of Romans 17 and replant the Church into a Greek tree, that has very little to do with the GOD of Israel. Their motivation, fueled by intense hatred for the Jews, was to distance the Church as far as possible from the Hebrew scriptures. Very quickly the Church lost almost every resemblance to the Body of Messiah that we read about in the book of Acts, that existed for less that 100 years after Yeshua rose from the dead. It continued to deteriorate into the Catholic religion which took the Church into the ‘Dark Ages’ that endured for 1000 years, until the Protestant Reformation began in 1517 AD.

The theological basis for a Church with no connection to Israel and the Jewish people is called ‘Replacement Theology’, a belief system that the Apostle Paul absolutely refutes in Romans 11:1 …. I say then has GOD cast away His people. Various versions quote Paul as replying …. God forbid, certainly not, or may it never be !  The source of Replacement Theology is from the pit of Hell, inspired by Satan, as his primary weapon to bring about the destruction of Israel and the Jewish people, which if it ever came to pass, would mean that the 2nd coming of Yeshua will never come to pass, as Acts 3:21 tells is that the Lord must remain in Heaven until the restoration of Israel is fulfilled..No wonder Satan is just as zealous over Zion as YHVH is, but for the opposite reason.

The Protestant Reformation began the process of bringing the Church out of the Dark Ages, but it did not go far enough. And Martin Luther became one of the worst anti-Semites of Church history, This may come as a shock to people who see Luther as a saint, but that he definitely was not when it came to the Jewish people. Satan used the writings of Luther to motivate Hitler to initiate the Final Solution, costing the lives of 6.5 million Jews in the Holocaust. If you want to see evidence of that read this. The Jewish genocide of the Holocaust is the extreme result of Replacement Theology, but any form or level of Replacement Theology is an affront to GOD, as it makes HIM out to be a liar, and that not an attribute of The GOD of Israel.

To sum up the point of this comment is that there is no middle ground in the Kingdom of YHVH. In Mark 9:40 Yeshua said You are either with Us or against Us. We are living in the End Times The Lord is coming soon, when He comes He is coming to the rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem, the Devil knows it better than most Christians do and is desperate to destroy Israel and the Jewish people, and most of what you see on the news taking place in the Middle East is related to all of those three facts.

As I wrote at the beginning of the comment, every true Christian should have GOD’s heart for Israel – it should be standard fruit of loving GOD. When was the last time your church prayed for Israel’s protection at a Sunday meeting ?  Psalm 122:6 – Isaiah 62: 6 -7. When was the last time your leaders gave a message about the need for all Jewish people returning to Israel ? Ezekiel 36:8 -10 and 39:29. When was the last time your leaders gave a message about Yeshua not returning until the Jewish people cry out from Jerusalem “baruch ha bah B’Shem Adonai” – “Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord ?  Matthew 23:39. I know that for the majority of you the answer is a long time ago or never. That means your church is under the influence of Replacement Theology and according to Genesis 12:3 is under a curse as GOD says to Abraham in the 2nd part of the verse says in the original Hebrew text that I will curse that who make light of you.

I am not writing this comment to condemn your church or your leaders as they have been deceived by the father of all liars. I am writing this to fulfill my calling as a Messianic Jew to be a light to the nations and to see you all blessed as GOD says in the 1st part of Genesis 12:3 I will bless those who bless Israel. Please stand with Josie and I in praying your pastors and leaders have a supernatural revelation of GOD’s plans and purposes for Israel and the grafted in Church in the nations, and that your congregation will join the present remnant that do have the LORD’s heart for Israel and the Jewish people, and that Israel will become the priority for prayer and support in other ways so that the blessings of Abraham will be poured out from Heaven.

The LORD bless you in 2020, as you bless Israel by standing in defense of her right to exist on all of the land given to the Jewish people by the GOD of Israel.  Please pray that all Israel will turn back to their GOD.  Do not be silent, but share this with your fellow Christians, share it with your pastors, and with anyone you have a chance to speak to. Lets also pray for a breakthrough to the Muslims, and please remember to pray Divine protection for all of the soldiers in the IDF.

Shabbat Shalom  …..  David & Josie

1. Flood Hero’s Mother Distraught Over Loss of Her Son   World News Israel   Jan 12th

Chava Ben Shabbat, whose son Moti perished in the Nahariya flood last week as he tried ed to save others from drowning, spoke with news staff at Radio 103FM. Chava went over Moti’s final moments and shared her unbearable pain. Late last Wedenesday morning, the Ben Shabbat family was preparing for a wedding. Chava prepared lunch as her son Moti and her husband Danny were assisting people in the heavy storm. Meanwhile, a make-up lady was making her way to their house in order to prepare Chava for her niece’s wedding. “It was a typical day,” Chava said. “Moti and Danny came home, took off their clothes that were full of water and mud, and Moti said he was going to make a cup of tea.” Koral, Chava’s daughter was also at home. Once Moti jumped into the deadly torrent of water with which was racing through all of Nahariya, there was no chance that he could survive. His body was found after a long search by rescue teams. Chava shouted to the reporter, “This just isn’t right. It’s just not normal that this could happen in 2020! It turns out that there were metal grates in that area for years but they were removed two or three years ago. If the grates had still been there, perhaps my Moti could have grabbed onto them, but I can’t be sure that, even so, he would have survived. We experienced a tsunami here in Nahariya. I was born in this city in 1962, but something like this I have not seen in all my days.” Please pray that Yeshua will reveal Himself to Chava and other members of the family

2. Israeli Intelligence Assisted in Soleimani Operation    NBC – Reuters  Jan 12th

According to a Sunday report by NBC News, Israeli intelligence played a role in the U.S. drone strike during which Iranian commander Qassem Soleimani was killed. The report regarding Israeli intelligence arrived on the heels of news regarding a network of informants in Damascus and Baghdad international airports who allegedly collaborated with the U.S. military as part of the strike that killed Soleimani, head of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, and Abu Mahdi Muhandis, deputy head of Iraq?s Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), an exclusive report by Reuters revealed on Thursday. According to the report, an investigation into the drone strike is being led by Falih al-Fayadh, who is Iraq?s National Security Adviser and head of the PMF, which organizes Shi?ite militias backed by Iran. The investigation has ?strong indications that a network of spies inside Bagdad Airport were involved in leaking sensitive security details,? on Soleimani?s arrival to Baghdad, an Iraqi security official told Reuters. They were comprised of two security staffers at the Baghdad airport and two Cham Wings employees, including ?a spy at the Damascus airport and another one working on board the airplane,? the source said. The investigators believe these four wre part of a wider group of people who were feeding information to the U.S. military.
Pray that Israeli intelligence will continue to track down and expose terrorists and terror plots before they are carried out.

3. US May Release Middle East Peace Plan Before Israel’s 3rd Election   INN News   Jan 13th

The Trump administration may release its much-awaited Middle East peace plan before Israel holds its third election in a year, a senior White House official hinted. US National Security Advisor Robert O?Brien told Axios that the administration won?t be considering Israeli or Palestinian Authority domestic political concerns in the timing of its release of the Middle East peace plan, dubbed the ?Deal of the Century? by President Trump. “I don’t think it necessarily depends on the elections. They will have had three elections in a row, we’ll have to see,? said O?Brien. ?The president is looking for a solution on the Israeli-Palestinian front that is durable, is long-lasting, and we’re not timing anything we do based on the domestic politics, either the Palestinians or the Israeli.? Pray that the US does not do plan anything that goes against GOD’s plans and purposes for Israel

4. Hungary Backs Israel at ICC

Israeli Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz thanked Hungary for its support after he received a letter from Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, P?ter Szijj?rt? stating that the International Criminal Court (ICC) does not have jurisdiction to try a case against Israel. In the letter, Szijj?rt? stressed that Hungary ?shares Israel?s concerns regarding politicization of the court and infringement of national sovereignty by the International Criminal Court,? Israel?s Foreign Ministry stated. ?We believe your position with regard to the lack of jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court in the given case is justified,? Szijjarto wrote. He added that Budapest has ?consistently been fighting against campaigns aimed at creating a negative image of the State of Israel in different international organizations such as the UN or the EU.?  Katz expressed his ?gratitude and appreciation for Hungary?s position, which is in line with the values of law and justice as well as with the excellent relations between the two states.? Pray that the ICC is exposed as an unjust organisation and shut down permanently.

5. Four Rockets Fired From Gaza  World Israel News   Jan 15th

Members of one of Gaza?s terror factions launched a barrage of rockets at communities in southern Israel on Wednesday afternoon. At least four rockets were fired and two of the rockets were reportedly shot down by Iron Dome anti-rocket missiles. Sirens rang out in the Gaza belt, as communities in the region sounded red alerts triggered by the rocket attack. Explosions were also heard in the area, but precised details regarding where the rockets fell remained unavailable at press time. While no injuries were reported, the sirens sent residents scrambling for bomb shelters in Sa?ad, Kfar Aza and Nahal Oz, Times of Israel reported. None of the the Palestinian terror groups in the Gaza Strip immediately took responsibility for the rocket strike. The past several incidents have been perpetrated by Islamic Jihad, which many view as an Iranian proxy. Israel holds Hamas responsible for all rocket fire from the coastal enclave since this group holds itself out as the governing force in the area. Pray that the rumoured long term peace treaty between Israel and Hamas is implemented as soon as possible.

6. Guatamala to Keep Embassy in Jerusalem    World Israel News  Jan 16

Guatemalan President Alejandro Giammattei has promised to keep his country?s embassy in Jerusalem and designate Hezbollah as a terrorist organization, a spokeswoman for the government said.
Israel?s Minister of Science and Technology who attended Giammattei?s inauguration in Guatemala City this week, thanked the new president for his strong support of Israel. ?You express the deep, long-standing friendship between the two countries, Mr. President. Jerusalem has been the heart of the Jewish people for the past 3,000 years and we endeavor to strengthen our hearts to all who strengthen it,? he said. ?Hezbollah is a terrorist organization and in fact a frontal unit of Iran and its whole purpose is the elimination of Israel. Thank you for your courageous decision to declare it a terrorist organization,? he added. This is not the first time that the Guatemalan president expressed his desire to designate Hezbollah as a terrorist group. Israel has enjoyed close ties with the Central American country for decades. In 1948, Guatemala was the second country in the world to recognize the State of Israel, and in 1956 became the first country in the world to open an embassy in Jerusalem before relocating it to Tel Aviv. In 2018, former Guatemalan President Jimmy Morales moved the embassy back to Jerusalem from Tel Aviv, just two days after the U.S. took the world by surprise by moving its embassy to the capital of Israel. Guatemala was also one of the nine nations to vote against a United Nations resolution that condemned U.S. President Trump?s historic decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Pray that many other nations will wake up and follow the lead of the USA and Guatemala.

7. Israel to Build Gas Pipeline to Supply Gaza   World Israel News   Jan 16th

Israel?s Minister of Energy has ordered government-owned natural gas transmission company Israel Natural Gas Lines Ltd. (INGL) to submit a detailed plan for the construction of a pipeline streaming natural gas to the Gaza Strip. According to the report, the order was given after unspecified European countries agreed to foot the bill for the $2.9 million developmental plans. With the sole power plant in Gaza regularly operating at half capacity, Gaza has long been dealing with an energy crisis that is regulated by an 8-hour on, 8-hour off electricity rationing system The proposed pipeline will be able to transfer up to one billion cubic meters of natural gas from the Negev to the Strip every year, which would be more than enough to supply most of Gaza?s electricity needs.
The construction of the pipeline itself is estimated to cost about $60 million and would require a gas contract to be signed between Israeli and Gazan entities. The ministry expects the necessary agreements to be signed during the first quarter of 2020, which would pave the way for a completion date by 2022. The report did not specify where the money to construct the pipeline will come from.Pray that the people of Gaza will appreciate the fact that Israel is willing to improve their situation.
