Yeshua Messiah and the Kingdom of God  – by Errol Francis
Acts 1:6-8 V6 Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” V7 And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority. V8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

As we celebrate Succot  as prophetic for the return of Yeshua the King. We should also be considering what the Kingdom is: both now and in the future. In Acts 1:6-7 Yeshua did not deny the restoration of Israel as a nation. Rather he gave an answer in V8 to prepare the disciples for the immediate future. Beyond that, we can believe for: (a) the restoration of Israel as given in Ezekiel 36. (b) Yeshua’s kingly rule as in: Ezekiel 20, Zechariah 9 and Zephaniah 3:, Luke 1.

Some people spiritualize these issues  quoting. “the kingdom of God is within you.” (Luke 17:21b)  saying the “kingdom” in the hearts of believers will be realized when they get to heaven: To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory…. which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. (Colossians 1:27)  Many Christians do believe in the restoration of Israel and Yeshua returning as King: but they hold to a spiritualized Kingdom of God as described above. They do allow for the Millennium, when the kingdom of God will be more literal. But overall, Christians have majored on the “gospel of salvation”: that Yeshua came and died solely for the forgiveness of our sins: so we can go to heaven. This overlooks Matthew 4:17 & 23, 9:35, Mark 1:14 &15, Luke 8:1; which speak plainly about Yeshua coming to establish the Kingdom of God.

Recently there have been a number of books written by Jewish- Believers and pro-Israel Christians: who take the whole Bible form Genesis to Revelation, expounding how it all looks forward to Yeshua, first in the promises to Israel: then in His first and second coming. Within scripture concerning redemption for sin, there is no ending of a “law based pre-Messiah Covenant” and a new beginning of a “grace based post-Messiah Covenant”. All scripture focuses around Yeshua Messiah and the Kingdom of God. Within which forgiveness is based on grace and faith.
For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed god, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” Romans 4:3 This is sourced from Genesis 15:6 and backed up in Romans 4:13-22. In Hebrews 11 similar faith is counted for righteousness to: Enoch V5, Noah V7, Sarah V11, Isaac V20, Jacob V21, Joseph V22, David Samuel and others V 32

One author writes that when Yeshua cried from the Cross “It is finished” he did not mean only the act of bearing the penalty for our sin was done. But he also meant the task of establishing the Kingdom of God was completed. The first meaning is often the only one considered: belittling the complete victory of Messiah.

Another author writes that in John 3 we see the issue of sins forgiven to those who believe in Yeshua: which comes after the discussion with Nicodemus. So what was Jesus discussing with Nicodemus? If it was not being born again to receive salvation. Was it then, being born into a “new life of faith”, so as to become a citizen of the Kingdom of God. Yes we must all be born again, to live for Yeshua, as citizens of the kingdom of God. This is more than sins forgiven is born out in Luke 6:43-47

V43  “For a good tree does not bear bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit.
V44  For every tree is known by its own fruit. For men do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they gather grapes from a bramble bush.
V45  A good man out of the good  treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.
V 46  “But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say?

The quality of our lives need to show we are now part of the Kingdom of Yeshua, (which He clearly said He was establishing), in the present and not just waiting for a spiritual kingdom in the next life.

The LORD bless you as you bless Israel by standing in defense of her right to exist on all of the land given to the Jewish people by the GOD of Israel.  Please pray that all Israel will turn back to their GOD.  Do not be silent, but share this with your fellow Christians, share it with your pastors, and with anyone you have a chance to speak to. Lets also pray for a breakthrough to the Muslims, and please remember to pray Divine protection for all of the soldiers in the IDF.

3. Naftali Bennett Defends PM Netanyahu    World Israel News   Oct 20th

Naftali Bennett, chairman of the New Right party, posted a lengthy warning on Facebook on Saturday night: ?If the justice system succeeds in toppling Netanyahu because of cigars and articles on the Walla site, it will be a mortal blow to the entire national camp.? Bennett referred to the corruption cases facing Prime Minister Netanyahu in which he is accused of giving political favors in exchange for gifts, like cigars or favorable political coverage. Bennett said, ?A right-wing leader who will come after him will be castrated and frightened by the media and the justice system.?
Bennett, who is a rival of PM Netanyahu and has had run-ins with him in the past despite their both being in the nationalist camp, wrote: ??Why are you protecting Bibi?? I?m asked this every day. My friends, I?m not only defending Netanyahu, but the whole national camp, and our State of Israel, against unfair legal and media persecution of Netanyahu, head of the right-wing camp and prime minister of Israel.? ?Netanyahu is not perfect. But he was a very good prime minister for the State of Israel and for its security,? he said. Pray that truth and justice will produce the right outcome in the case against PM Netanyahu.

4. Hamas Creates Park for Children Sent to Gaza Border Riots      United With Israel News   Oct 23rd

Hamas has created a playground near the area it shuttled children to serve on the front lines of violent Gaza border riots. The steering committee that spearheads weekly violence and unrest on the Israeli border with Gaza is reportedly preparing to inaugurate a ?children?s park? near an area that has been ?a focal point for the often violent disturbances,? according to the Algemeiner. This ?Park of Return? is apparently ready to go and includes ?games, entertainment facilities, lawns, gardens, a promenade, shaded areas for picnics, and fountains.? Since launching the violent riots in March 2018, Hamas faced a chorus of condemnation from Israel and its allies for singling out children and forcing them to the front lines. The park appears to be part of a campaign to put a positive spin on the terror group?s sick exploitation of children in its never-ending war against the Jewish state. Tragically, Hamas specifically preys upon impoverished children, who are installed among other rioters and sent to the border fence to provoke IDF forces. Children of wealthy Palestinians are spared from this fate, according to claims in the Alegemeiner report. Pray that the world wakes up to the fact that Hamas uses children and teenagers as human sheilds

Israeli President Rivlin on Wednesday tasked Benny Gantz, the Blue and White party leader, with forming Israel?s next government, after PM Netanyahu announced earlier this week that he had failed to do so. Gantz, like Netanyahu before him, now has 28 days to try and form a government, though the prime minister-designate is seen as being no more likely to manage the task. After accepting the presidential mandate at the President?s Residence in Jerusalem, Gantz promised to build a government of national reconciliation, and said he would invite PM Netanyahu and his Likud to be part of it. He also reached out to Israel?s ultra-Orthodox community. ?An entire nation is waiting to sigh with relief? that the political deadlock is over, he said. Pray that these two leaders and their parties can find a way to work together to form a coalition government

PM Benjamin Netanyahu has just celebrated his 70th birthday. PM Netanyahu has served as Israel’s Prime Minister since 2009, as well as from 1996 to 1999. He is the longest serving PM in Israel’s history and the first PM who was born in Israel after it became a state in 1948. Born in 1949 in Tel Aviv, Benjamin  Netanyahu turned 70 on October 21 this year. His mother was born in Petah Tikva in the Ottoman Empire and his father was born in Warsaw, Poland. From 1956 to 1958 and again from 1963 to 1967, Benjamin’s family lived in Pennsylvania, USA, in a suburb of Philadelphia where his father taught college. Upon completing high school in 1967, Netanyahu returned to Israel to serve in an elite force within the Israeli army, the IDF, sustaining injuries in combat on several occasions. Netanyahu fought in the Yom Kippur War in 1973, took part in special forces raids along the Suez Canal and led a commando assault deep into Syrian territory. In 1984, Netanyahu was appointed Israel’s ambassador to the UN by Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir, a post he held until 1988. While living in New York during the 1980s, Netanyahu became friends with Fred Trump, father of Donald Trump. Benjamin Netanyahu was elected to the Knesset before becoming leader of the Likud party in 1993. Following the 1996 election, he became Israel’s youngest-ever prime minister when he defeated the favorite, Shimon Peres.
