Josie’s Comment: A New Sound In Israel
Psalm 102-13-16  The Lord will arise and have mercy on Zion for the time, the set time to favour Zion has come. For the LORD will build up Zion and then He will appear in His Glory.

There is a new ‘sound’ being heard in Israel. It reverberates throughout the land every day and it is steadily increasing. This sound is the sound of construction of roads, stone walls, dwelling places and commercial buildings. In those natural sounds is the spiritual sound of the Messiah’s return

Israel has her building tools out once again. Just as in the days of Nehemiah, the people of Israel have their work tools in one hand and their weapons in the other hand. We will build, and build some more, and we will keep building, We are building constantly and swiftly. No matter what the UN and news media says in an attempt to stop us,we will not put our tools down again until the work is complete.

Construction is snowballing in every city and town throughout the land. The sound of bulldozers, ground breakers, trucks rolling in with heavy loads of concrete and marble, hammers and drills. It is exciting to see the fulfilment of God’s word coming to pass right before our eyes.

God is building and preparing the nation of Israel for His people who have already come home or were born here, the ones who are coming now, and those who are yet to come. His people are returning from almost every nation. Those who are already here or were born here are growing up and having families of their own, the generations are moving on, and more dwelling places are needed, and the God Israel is making sure that each one has a dwelling place as He promised they would. Naturally, roads, businesses, and other infrastructure, also need to be increased accordingly, and they are.

Amos 9:14  I will bring back the captives of My people Israel, they shall build the waste cities and inhabit them. God Himself is building up Zion for His holy habitation, for the return of His Son the Messiah, and for the rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem. (Psalm 102:12-15)

While God is building up Zion, the nations want to tear it down, but the building will continue because of His Word and His promises to Abraham and his descendants. God is building up Zion, not just for His people, but for His own dwelling place – He is preparing Zion to receive the appearing of His Son.

The God of Israel always has a pattern for everything. And so He has a pattern for the return of Yeshua. Part of that pattern is to fulfil Psalm 102:16  For the Lord will build up Zion, then He shall appear in His glory. That also includes the return of His people to their homeland and to come to redemption.

As Miriam said For He who is Mighty has done great things. (Luke 1:49) Yes He has done great things, is doing great things and will do great things in this place, in this nation He calls His own, Israel.

Of course we who live here in the Land of Israel are excited by this sound, but every Christian should be excited too, as it is the sound that is ushering in the return of Yeshua and the Kingdom of God. As well as sharing our excitement, what part can you play to increase the sound ?  Prayer and intercession is the most effective thing you can do. Some of you may not be aware that I have a prayer ministry Intercessors for the Restoration of Israel that is solely focused on praying for the restoration of Israel and I send out a monthly prayer bulletin in which I give guidelines for prayer. If you would like to receive this bulletin please email me at josiesilver7@gmail.com. Better still come to Israel, see the great things God is doing, and pray the Word of God with your feet on the Land. We have an annual prayer summit tour in March. You can write to me for more details.

The LORD bless you as you bless Israel by standing in defense of her right to exist on the land given to the Jewish people by the God of Israel.  Lets pray that Israel will turn back to their God.  Do not be silent, but share this with your fellow Christians, share it with your pastors, and with anyone you have a chance to speak to. Lets also pray for that breakthrough to the Muslims, and please remember to pray Divine protection for all of the soldiers in the IDF.

Shabbat Shalom ……  David & Jose

1. Israel Strikes Targets in Syria After Mortars Land on Golan Heights      Medialine News   June 25th

Israel retaliated against Syria over the weekend after ten projectiles from Syria landed in the Golan Heights, a popular Israeli tourist destination. There were no casualties reported although the Israeli government warned both hikers and farmers to stay away from the border. In response Israel fired missiles at tanks in Syria and according to Arab media reports, killed two Syrian soldiers. Israeli PM Binyamin Netanyahu warned that Israel will not tolerate any violation of its security on any front, including what he called ?drizzle? of fire.? Israeli officials are concerned about spillover from the fighting between Assad and Syrian rebel groups. In April 2017 Israel fired a Patriot anti-ballistic missile, intercepting a drone that entered Israel?s air space from Syria. Pray for the Lord?s angelic shields to be along Israel?s northern borders

2. Israel Will Strike Hizbollah With Full Force in Next War     World Israel News    June 23rd

The commander of the Israeli Air Force (IAF) said that in recent years the IAF has significantly improved its offensive capabilities, and ?what we could do in 34 days during the 2nd  Lebanon War in 2006, we can now do in 48 hours.? ?This is potential power unimaginable in its scope, much different to what we have seen in the past and far greater than people estimate,?  the IAF Commander Major-General declared. He said that  said that a war breaks out with Hezbollah, Israel must strike ?with all our strength from the start.? He said that operating in the region has become complex as the result of several nations air forces operating on the same place  ?We want to maintain our freedom to operate and don?t want to harm those who do not want to harm us. Commenting on the threat in the north, he said at this time, Hezbollah is not interested in attacking Israel again. ?For us, this presents an opportunity because it gives us time to build our strength. If a war breaks out in the north, we need to act with full force from the beginning. What we could do in 34 days during the Second Lebanon War, we can now do in 48 hours. Let’s pray that when the next war with Hezbollah breaks out, the Israeli government will allow the armed forces to use full force to quickly destroy the enemy.

3. Media Reports: President Trump Furious with PA   Israel Today News   June 26th

The international mainstream media painted last week’s meeting between Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas and US President Donald Trump’s senior advisor and son-in-law, Jared Kushner, as “productive.” Apparently, that description wasn’t entirely accurate. The London-based Arabic-language daily al-Hayat instead called the meeting “tense,” and said it ended with a serious rift between the Americans and the (so-called) Palestinians. According to PA officials who spoke to the newspaper, Trump is now considering pulling out of the Mideast peace process altogether. The Jerusalem Post quoted an American administration official as saying that was “nonsense,” though he did not refute other details of the al-Hayat report. Abbas is said to have been outraged when Kushner entered the room and conveyed Israel’s demand that he stop using international financial aid to pay salaries to terrorists sitting in Israeli jails. Kushner also reportedly insisted that PA officials halt all incitement against Israel, and expressed disappointment that Abbas had failed to condemn last week’s deadly terrorist stabbing in Jerusalem, which took the life of a young female Border Police officer. Al-Hayat wrote that Abbas fired back by accusing Kushner of “taking Israel’s side,” and was adamant that paying salaries to convicted terrorists was part of his “social responsibility.” Let’s pray that the US will indeed terminate the fake ‘peace process’.

4. Israel Blocks UN from Entering Hebron    Israel Today News   June 26th

Israel is finally standing its ground against the hostile United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), and that could have a lot to do with the American president’s aggressive position toward the world body. Last Saturday, Israel denied access to Hebron to a delegation from UNESCO. The aim of the planned visit was to make a show of solidarity with Hebron’s Old City, which UNESCO lists as a “threatened” Palestinian World Heritage Site. Hebron’s Old City is one of 35 sites to be discussed at UNESCO’s World Heritage Committee next week in Krakow, Poland. The (so-called) Palestinians requested the Hebron be urgently addressed there, falsely claiming that the Biblical city is being threatened with “destruction.” Israel’s ambassador to UNESCO, applauded the decision to bar his UN colleagues from Hebron. “Israel should not allow any political action by the Palestinians under the cover of culture,” he said. Pray that Israel stands its ground with the UN and all who make themselves an enemy of the state

5. Rising Anti-Semitism in the UK is a Threat to Jews Everywhere   Jerusalem Post  June 25th

Isi Leibler is a veteran Jewish leader and prolific commentator on Jewish and Israeli affairs. In a recent article, Leibler presented a grim picture of the predicament of the Jews in the UK. The threat to the well-being and safety of that community is real, and he suggests the threat may be worse than at any time since 1656 when Jews returned to that country after having been expelled in 1290. The need for Jews in the UK to hide their identity and provide armed guards for Jewish facilities and events has reached a critical point. Attacks upon Jews have been increasing, but the recent large vote in favor of the British Labour Party is really the ominous sign. The leader of that party, Jeremy Corbyn, came dangerously close to ousting PM Theresa May. He is a clear friend of Hamas and is a terrorist partisan. His surging popularity therefore suggests an imbalanced and negative attitude on the part of the British population toward Israel, and following that, hostility toward the Jewish People. Despite disclaimers by many of Israel?s enemies, anti-Israel movements, programs and policies are deeply anti-Semitic in intent, and represent a threat to Jews living outside of Israel. Imagine this: despite 69 years of sovereignty, despite thousands of years of claims to the Holy Land, Israel is still trying to ?prove? its right to exist to people throughout the world. Continue to pray that multitudes of Jews in the UK and every nation will hear GOD whistling  (Zechariah 10:8) for them to come home to the Promised Land

6. Israel Government Preparing Infrastructure for Temple   INN News June 28th

For the first time in approximately 2,000 years, since the time of the Second Temple, plans are being formed by the Israeli government to build an effective infrastructure for Jews to make their obligatory pilgrimage to the Temple in Jerusalem. God commands in the Bible that all Jews make their way to the Temple three times a year. The Third Temple will require a functional infrastructure that could facilitate the transportation of millions of Jews to Jerusalem during and after these festivals. Israel?s Minister of Transportation, Yisroel Katz, has now publicly stated that facilitating this was his intention when planning the line of the fast train currently under construction between the airport in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. In a meeting with Temple Movement representatives in February, the minister explained, ?As a Kohen (Jew of the priestly caste) I have a special connection to the holy site. In front of my eyes I constantly see the words ?Prepare the way, prepare the way ??   Katz is planning on extending the line of the fast train [pictured above] to transport people from Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv to Jerusalem directly to the Western Wall. The final stop will be the ?Kotel/Har Habayit Stop? (Western Wall/Temple Mount Stop). The Chairman of the Friends of the the Temple Organization, noted that the Ministry of Transportation?s involvement was a necessary first step. ?We expect millions of Jews coming to the Temple Mount even before the Temple is built, so transportation is a potential bottleneck. We need to open up more entrances to the Temple Mount, since there is currently only one entrance available to the Jews.? ?What we are seeing is to prepare the way for Jews to go up to the Temple Mount, when the Temple is built, the changes will be even greater? he said.  Lets pray that the Temple will be rebuilt in GOD’s perfect timing

7. Israel Gives Gaza Fresh Water – Receives Raw Sewerage in Return     INN News  June 26th

Sewage from Gaza poured into the Ashkelon Beach area last week after repeated warnings failed to alert the government enough to stop it. Ashkelon Regional Council demanded the Israeli government put a stop to the sewage flowing out of Gaza. For several years, the Hanoun Stream has been a source of West Nile fever, which endangers the public’s health. In addition to the immediate health risk, the sewage flowing in the river causes hydrological pollution. The solid sewage flows into the Shikma Stream, causing an awful stench and polluting the coastal aquifer,” the Ashkelon Council said, noting that they have already begun the cleanup. Council workers began to create piles of dirt to stop the flow of the sewage, and simultaneously began pumping the sewage out to avoid polluting the soil. “This problem is a result of the fact that Beit Hanoun’s sewage treatment facility does not work full-time,” the Council explained. “Because of internal conflicts between the Palestinian Authority and Hamas leadership, electricity to Gaza was cut, and the sewage treatment facility is suffering.” “This situation endangers residents of Jewish towns near the Gaza border and in the Ashkelon Beach Regional Council. “We give Gaza sweet water, but Hamas  and Fatah give us back sewage.” Pray that the sewerage problem is solved quickly and that no-one will suffer health issues because of it
