David’s Comment: This Has Been A Important Week

I am beginning to write this comment on Tuesday as I am on the final 3 hour flight from Malaysia back to Mt.Carmel. I started my journey in Kuala Lumpur, flying to Singapore, then to Zurich, and finally this flight to Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv. I was in Hong Kong for 5 days and then Malaysia for 7 days. All of the meetings were excellent and at least one person received a major healing, but hopefully there are more that I don’t know about yet. This was the final speaking tour of the year, so a special TODAH RABAH, Thank you very much to everyone who has partnered with Josie and I, covering us in prayer and supporting us financially, both of which enable us to fulfill the calling on our lives. May the LORD bless you mightily.

I always try to have the comment finished by    Wednesday as I need to give the precious volunteers who translate it to Chinese, French, German, Portuguese, Spanish and Swedish, time to make the translation and get it back to me so that I can send the complete Carmel Alert by Friday evening. Therefore I am starting the comment as I am flying from Zurich to Tel Aviv, but I will not be able to finish it until Thursday morning as there a number of important things taking place this week and I need to know the outcome before completing my comment. Here are the important issues that I am referring to  …….

1/ Israel – Wednesday is the last day that the leaders of the main political parties have to form a coalition government. If they do not find a way to do this, then Israel will need to have the 3rd General Election in 12 months on March 2nd 2020. This is a waste of money and energy, and will probably turn out to be a total waste of time as another election will most likely end in another impasse, unless the Israeli voters change the way they vote. An even more serious concern is that the current leaders of the Islamic Iranian government, who are incensed with hatred towards Israel, may see this time of weak government as the best time to launch their regularly threatened war against Israel. In spite of the fact that PM Netanyahu has been indicted by Israel’s Attorney General on 3 serious corruption charges, the PM, who is now Israel’s longest serving PM, has done a fantastic job, personally advancing Israel diplomatically, in trade, and most importantly in the area of security. Even if he has acted unwisely in some areas, the positive aspects of his leadership outweigh the negative, and I believe that he should be pardoned and allowed to continue as the Prime Minister. The Devil hates the strong leadership of PM Netanyahu, so no wonder the sinister left wing liberals despise the man who has done great things for our nation.

2/  United Kingdom – democracy has failed in the UK. The majority voted to leave the EU, but the liberal left wing politicians and media have worked overtime to stop Brexit. This failure of true democracy has cost the political career of several politicians, including 2 Prime Ministers, David Cameron and Teresa May. Now the UK faces a General Election, which current PM Boris Johnson hopes to win, giving him a fresh mandate to complete the Brexit process. I believe the UK must get out of the anti-Christ EU, which by the admission of a high level EU official several years ago, the goal of the EU is to complete what was began with the Tower of Babel. The EU uses a lot of symbolism from the Tower of Babel and from the kingdom of the anti-Christ, so the EU is doomed to fall just like the Tower did, so for the sake of the UK, they need to get out now.

3/  United States of America – the liberal Democrats and the left wing liberal media are desparate to get rid of President Trump. The Democrats are about to publish the articles of Impeachment against the President. I personally don’t like the way President Trump speaks to and about people, but like PM Netanyahu, the President has been doing a great job as President, and unlike many other leaders, he has succeeded in fulfilling his election campaign promises to make the USA great again. Even more importantly for Israel, President Trump is the only US President who had the guts to stand against the Muslim world and restore the US Embassy back to where it belongs – in Jerusalem. In another move of defiance to Muslim manipulation and pressure, President Trump instructed the State Department to openly declare that Israel has the right, according to International Law, to occupy all of the land that GOD in HIS Word calls The Promised Land. The Devil hates this, so we should not be shocked that the sinister left wingers hate President Trump.

Now it is Thursday and now we know the outcome of the key events of the week …….

1/  Israel – PM Netanyahu and main opposition leader Benny Gantz failed to reach an agreement to form a new government, meaning that Israel will have a 3rd general election in 12 months. Unless there is a dramatic change in the political system or the way that the Israeli public votes, the next election will result in another impass, a further waste of time and wasting 12 billion shekels, leaving the nation in political limbo. An even more serious concern is that the Islamic leadership of Iran, who virulently hate Israel and are sworn to her destruction, may see this time of weak government in Israel as the best time to launch a major attack. Please pray that they are not so foolish.

2/  United Kingdom – the outcome of the election is the exact opposite of the situation in Israel. The landslide victory for the Conservative Party lead by PM Boris Johnson is a decisive victory for democracy and a 2nd vote by the majority for BREXIT, which as I wrote above is a must for the UK if it is to have a chance of survival when YHVH brings the Tower of Babel (the EU) down, as He surely will if Europe does not repent.

3/  United States of America – the left wing Democratic leaders continue with their hate inspired attempt to impeach President Trump. An American friend has told me that when the impeachment process reaches the Senate for a final vote, it will be rejected as the majority of the Senate are from the President’s Republican party, and most will not vote to impeach their leader. If Donald Trump is truly a ‘Cyrus’ or ‘Jehu’ as Rabbi Cahn and others have suggested, then GOD will preserve him, and he will likely fulfill a 2nd term as President of the USA.

However now is not the time to sit back and take it easy. We need to continue pray for the situation in Israel and the USA, Hong Kong and other cities where violence is taking place, and also pray for a revolution in Iran and the return of democracy.

The LORD bless you as you bless Israel by standing in defense of her right to exist on all of the land given to the Jewish people by the GOD of Israel.  Please pray that all Israel will turn back to their GOD.  Do not be silent, but share this with your fellow Christians, share it with your pastors, and with anyone you have a chance to speak to. Lets also pray for a breakthrough to the Muslims, and please remember to pray Divine protection for all of the soldiers in the IDF.

Shabbat Shalom  …..  David & Josie

This Week’s News Items

1. New US Ambassador to the UN Pledges to Stand Strong with Israel    United with Israel News   Dec 8th

On Friday, U.S. Ambassador Kelly Craft held her first press conference since arriving at the United Nations in September. During the event, Craft vowed that she would strongly oppose Israel being used as a ‘punching bag’ by the U.N. Security Council. Craft appears to be continuing the legacy of her predecessor, Nikki Haley who established herself as an unwavering voice of fairness at the U.N., which is dominated by member states that maintain a distinctly anti-Israel bias. In her comments on Friday, Craft reiterated the U.S.? commitment to fostering dialogue between Israel and the Palestinians. Craft also warned Iran that\In addition to Israel and Iran, Craft specifically addressed North Korea, commenting that all 15 members of the U.N. Security Council are united in their concern about more ballistic missile launches by the communist nation, saying there have been 13 launches since May and Pyongyang?s actions are a serious global issue. Pray that the USA will stand by this pledge of solidarity

2. Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister Blasts British Jews   World Israel News  Dec 8th

Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely criticized the British Board of Deputies on Friday for including support for a Palestinian state in the manifesto they would like politicians to commit to in order to gain Jewish support in the U.K. elections this week. ?There was no prior consultation regarding this document [by the Board] with the government of Israel?s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, nor with our ambassador, nor with any other political authority,? Hotovely told Israeli weekly Olam Katan, which picked up the story on Monday. Although emphasizing that Jewish Diaspora groups do not have to consult with the government before they speak, Hotovely did not mince words in criticizing the Board?s move. ?In every meeting between Jewish organizations around the world and politicians ? the prime minister, foreign minister or myself ? we emphasize that the idea of a Palestinian state is one that the State of Israel completely opposes. Pray that these British Jews wake up to the reality and immigrate to Israel instead of compromising with the enemy

His team ?demonstrated that the stem cell process can be harnessed to accelerate tissue healing after injury and reduce scar formation. They also managed to create mini organs in a dish, which can be used for transplantation and drug screening platforms. These discoveries pave the way for more effective treatment of various diseases and improved healing.? Fuchs? research opens the door to new approaches in regenerative medicine, treating wounds and healing cancerous tumors. Pray that Israeli scientist will continue to bless the world with medical and technical advances

4. Gaza Terror Update    Associated Press    Dec 8th

Last Saturday, the IDF  air defenses intercepted two out of three missiles launched at Israel from the Gaza Strip. There were no reports of injuries and no Palestinian group claimed responsibility for the rocket fire. Cross-border violence between Israel and Palestinian terrorists in Gaza has ebbed and flowed in recent years. Last month, the two sides fought their worst round of violence in months. Leaders from Hamas, the terror group ruling Gaza, and the smaller but more radical Islamic Jihad have been meeting in Cairo, talking with Egyptian officials about cementing a cease-fire.
The latest round of rocket fire arrived a little more a week after the last missile attacks from Gaza. During that incident, terrorists fired a rocket into southern Israel in the evening. In response, Israeli aircraft struck a vacant training site for Hamas. While Hamas cancelled weekly border riots for three weeks straight week, the resumed the regular Friday rioting last week. It was reported that 37 of the rioters were injured. Pray that the relative calm continues and that the decent people of Gaza eject Hamas from the Strip.

5. Israel to Have 3rd Election in 12 Months   World Israel News    Dec 12

After months of deadlocked talks and the indictment of the prime minister, Israel has moved to its third election in 12 months, a first in the history of the Jewish state. The elections will likely deepen polarization and fuel deep dissatisfaction with politicians that have been unable to form a government in a year. Right wing PM Netanyahu, neck and neck with centrist rival Benny Gantz in April and September polls, will this time go to the people with an extra millstone around his neck — an ongoing indictment over a series of corruption charges. The two men had been discussing forming a unity government but the talks broke down. MPs had until 23.59 to find a candidate capable of gaining a majority in the parliament, or Knesset but the deadline passed, meaning parliament will be
dissolved and the country returns to the polls in March. The new elections are deeply unpopular among the electorate, with the Manufacturers Association of Israel estimating the three elections could cost the economy a total of 12 billion shekels ($3.4 billion, 3.1 billion euros). A poll published by Israel’s Channel 13 TV found that 41 percent of people thought PM Netanyahu was to blame for the impasses, with only 5 percent blaming Gantz. Pray that the 3rd election will result in a new government to lead the nation for the strategic years ahead

6. PM Netanyahu Reaches Out to Iranians  –  Many Love Israel     United with Israel News   Dec 10th

An Iranian asylum seeker wrote a telling artcile for The Jerusalem Post on Monday crediting Israeli PM Netanyahu with building positive relationships with Iranians by communicating with the country?s citizens on social media platforms in their native language, Farsi. PM Netanyahu started directly reaching out to Iranians about four years ago via Twitter and posting videos that complimented its citizens while telling them that their regime is causing them disaster. These social media posts, with Farsi subtitles, coincided with the Islamic Republic?s deterioration in popularity. In one video, the PM emphasized that Iranians are often successful worldwide but not in their own country, due to their oppressive leadership. In another video, PM Netanyahu states that he will send Iranians, through social media platforms, ways to resolve their water challenges by using economical systems. Included in his posts were an emphasis on Israel?s desire to live in peace and cooperation with the Iranian people. The PM?s videos went viral among Iranians. Instagram is the most popular social media platform for Iranians to gather news. ?Every time there is a story about Israel, a vast majority of comments are in praise of Netanyahu and Israel.” The writer said that Iranians inside Iran ?no longer complain that Israel mistreats Palestinians.? Rather, they say that ?Israel is in the right? and are ?tired of starving for the benefit of Hamas and Hezbollah.” Khatiri said that ?Netanyahu cracked the code? for reaching the citizens of a country led by a regime that seeks Israel?s destruction. ?Just 10 years ago, it was inconceivable to imagine an Israeli prime minister, especially a Likud one, would play this role,? he wrote. Pray that there will be a new revolution in Iran will see an overthrow of the Israel hating Islamic government

7. Twenty Five Percent of Israelis Living Under the Poverty Line   World Israels News   Dec 10th

According to a recent report, the number of Israelis suffering from nutrition insecurity, defined as a lack of access to a wide range of foods that provide all essential nutrients, rose from 16% in 2018 to 18.5% in 2019. The number of those suffering from food insecurity rose from 5.5% to 6.5%. Among Israelis supported by local charity groups, 12% said they had to resort to humiliating situations such as looking for food in garbage bins or begging, up from 9% last year. The report?s authors state that poverty in Israel has stayed roughly the same over the past six years, with minor yearly deviations. According to the report, 2.3 million in Israel are defined as poor, the same as in 2018, but last year that number accounted for 26.5% of the population while in 2019 it accounts for 25.5%. The number of poor children remained 1 million, but their percentage in the population dropped from 36% to 33.5%. Pray that the next Israeli government will do more to assist these families that are living under the poverty line.
