David's Comment: Check the History Books Mr Obama
Gen 12:3  "I will bless those who bless you, I will curse (or destroy) those who make light of you"
 
According to the literal translation of the Hebrew, it is not a matter of coming under God's wrath if you curse the Jewish people, simply taking Israel lightly will get you into BIG trouble with the God of Israel.   I believe that not praying for Israel as God has instructed us to all to do (Psalm 122:6, Isaiah 62:6 - 7) is taking Israel lightly.  In fact the Bible tells us that it is a SIN not to pray for Israel. You may have never seen that before -  we hadnt until recently.  The following verse is the prophet Samuel speaking to the people of Israel   1 Samuel 12:23 As for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the LORD by failing to pray for you.    If your church doesn't pray for Israel, they are sinning against the Lord and I strongly encourage you to show those verses to your pastor.

And I believe that not agreeing with or defending  Israel's right to exist on the territory that YHVH promised to Abraham is also taking Israel lightly.  What President Obama is doing, is even worse than ignoring God's Word concerning Israel and the Jewish people.  Obama is very forcefully leaning on Israel's prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu to cease allowing Jewish people to settle on the land that God promised Abraham.  The land in question is Judea and Samaria, or the West Bank / Occupied Territories as erroneously called by the secular politicians and media.  Obama is also pushing for Jerusalem to be the capital city of a Palestinian State.

There is no shadow of doubt that God promised all of ancient Canaan (Psalm 105:6 - 11) and even more land, as far away as the River Euphrates in Iraq (Gen 15:16) are a part of the Promised Land.  To deny Israel's legitimate right to occupy all of that Land is to oppose God.  And the account of world history is the account of the rise and fall of the great empires - Egypt, Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece and Rome. They all rose up to be the most powerful entity on the Earth at the time, but they all made the same fatal mistake that brought them down - they attacked and dominated Israel.  In doing so they made light of the Jewish people and they made light of the power and the warnings of the God of Israel.  Every one of them is either totally gone or just a shadow of their former stature.  You can even add the one far spread British Empire to the list  -  it no longer exists.

Now it is beginning to look like the mighty United States of America will be added to that list of destroyed nations. New US President Barack Hussein Obama is coming out of his Muslim closet.  The man who claims to be a Christian certainly is not behaving like a Christian.  Obama is condoning the cold-blooded murder of unborn babies, even all birth. He is condoning the abominable to God, homosexual lifestyle, and he is virulently opposing Israel's right to live in the Land that God promised to them.  Obama is applying unprecedented pressure on the Israeli government to submit to his orders and give away their rightful territory in Judea and Samaria to make way for an un-Biblical and illegitimate "Two State Solution".  It seems Obama is doing everything he can to appease the oil rich Arab world at Israel's expense.  That is making light of God's land and His people.  And he is doing it in the most manipulating, overbearing way possible.  And history declares that his anti God / anti Israel actions are sure to bring the wrath of the God of Israel down upon the people of the USA. 

While most of the people in the Western world seem to be mesmerized by the spirit of Anti-Christ that is operation through Obama, not everyone is under his evil spell.  US actor Jon Voight last week called Obama a  "soft spoken Julius Caesar" and rightfully accused him of implementing a number of catastrophic decisions in the first few months of his presidency.  We can be sure there are more catastrophies to come.  Already the US metereological service is forecasting an extra active hurricane season.  Late last week a strong wind tore across the White House lawn and ripped a large tree out of the ground.  Was God sending a message to the US government ?

The Obama administration is schmoozing up to the Musllim world by offering Israel on a platter,  They seem to believe that removing the settlements will stop the terrorist threat to the USA.  What a 180 degree turn around that is in US policy which once recognsed that Israel was / still is the only stable democracy in the Middle East.  Now the US is rewarding her enemies by punishing Israel.  And most of the people and the government of the tiny Jewish nation do not have faith or trust in their God to stand up and state a decisive NO to Obama & his hench-woman. Secretary of State Clinton. 

Keeping in mind that God demands that we pray for Israel, we need to continue to pray daily that the God of Israel will move on Benjamin Nethanyahu and empower him to say NO

NO   to stopping settlement expansion
NO   to the withrdawal from any of the land that God gave to the Jews as an ETERNAL possession
NO   to a Palestinian state  and the Two State Solution
NO   to all of the un-Biblical demands of the US, UN & EU
 
The Lord bless you as you bless Israel by standing in defense of her right to exist on the land given to the Jewish people by the God of Israel.  Lets pray that Israel will turn back to their God.  Do not be silent, but share this with your fellow Christians, share it with your pastors, and with anyone you have a chance to speak to. Lets also pray for that breakthrough to the Muslims,  and please remember to pray for our son Jordan, and all of his fellow soldiers in the IDF.
