David’s Comment:  Special Report – Beware of the Bethlehem Bible College !

The mention of a ‘Christian’ Bible college in the city where Yeshua was born makes many Christians excited. However when it comes to the truth of the Bible, the Bethlehem Bible College has a very serious theological problem. From public statements and reports of the college’s leadership’s sermons as they speak in churches in the nations, it is very clear that the college is totally deceived by the lie of Replacement Theology.

To back  up what I have written, here is a report by Ryan Jones, a journalist at the soundly Bible based Israel Today magazine, looking at the recent  ‘Christ at the Checkpoint‘ conference that was held at the college in Bethlehem, and as usual, was mainly attended by people who claim to be Christians, but have swallowed the lies of Replacement Theology, and oppose all that GOD is doing here in Israel. The name of the conference is meant to imply that if Yeshua was here now, He would have to endure the same treatment at the checkpoints as the mythical ‘Palestinians’ do. However the ironic and very sad point is that if Yeshua was here now, He would put an end to the ‘Palestinian’ myth, the Israelis and the Muslims would all believe in Him as the Messiah, co-existing in peace, and there would be no need for the checkpoints in the first place.

Sadly that is not the current situation and Israel must be very careful who crosses over our borders, as there are large numbers of fanatical  Muslim terrorists on the other side of the checkpoints who are intent on murdering Israelis. The Bethlehem Bible College is NOT serving the purposes of the GOD of Israel, and because of the influence they have over unsuspecting Christians, is a very dangerous organisation, a menace and a hindrance to the re-establishment of the Kingdom of YHVH on Earth. Please do read the following report and please warn everyone you know, not to be taken in by the lies and deception being spread by the staff of the Bethlehem Bible College ……… (end of David’s intro)

From Israel Today  “Welcome to the State of Palestine. The only state whose land is still under occupation by another country, the State of Israel,” declared Palestinian Authority Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki (pictured) in his keynote address on the opening night of Christ at the Checkpoint 2018. No mention of Tibet, or that before Israel, his “country” was occupied by Jordan, and before that by the Ottoman Turks, and before that…oh, wait, there never has been a State of Palestine to occupy. But we are already getting way off track. A couple of small remarks at the start of al-Maliki’s address should have raised major red flags for any Christian who believes in the validity and infallibility of the Bible. “Christ at the Checkpoint…[Christ] unable to cross simply because he was a Palestinian… Palestine, the birthplace of Jesus…”

In this revisionist approach to Scripture, which was repeatedly applauded by those Christians hosting (Bethlehem Bible College) and attending Christ at the Checkpoint, all those many New Testament passages confirming that this land is the homeland of the Jewish people are ignored, or completely tossed out. Modern Israel is labeled a “colonialist” project, so it’s not possible to recognize the Jews’ forefathers as having inhabited this land long before any Arabs were present, just as it is not possible to openly acknowledge that Jesus himself was a Jew, born in the Jewish town of Bethlehem.

In my Bible, the second chapter of Matthew begins thus (emphasis mine): “Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the reign of King Herod. About that time some wise men from eastern lands arrived in Jerusalem, asking, ‘Where is the newborn king of the Jews?…'”  Perhaps al-Maliki was citing a wildly different translation of the New Testament, one provided to him by Bethlehem Bible College, because I just can’t seem to find the terms “Palestine” or “Palestinian” even once in the story of Jesus. At the same time, these passages sure do reference the Jews an awful lot, considering that the Palestinian Authority that al-Maliki was there to represent rejects any historical Jewish connection to Bethlehem and the rest of the Holy Land. If you are willing to toss out such foundational content, then all of the New Testament and its teachings must be placed under a question mark.

Welcome to post-biblical Christianity.

Now, I understand that al-Maliki is himself a Muslim, and as such we cannot expect him to accept the biblical narrative as it’s written. We can, however, expect that of Bethlehem Bible College. But, instead of trying to set the biblical record straight, the hosts of Christ at the Checkpoint not only applauded al-Maliki’s adaptation of Scripture, they buffeted it with their own “scholarly” Christian doctrines. The rest of al-Maliki’s address was the typical polemic against Israel as the source of all Arab woes, with the typical omission of Arab hostility toward and terrorism against the Jews.

To go line-by-line in debunking the same tired old claims would be an exercise in futility. Suffice it to say that the very brand of dehumanization al-Maliki accused Israel of wielding against the Palestinians was on full display in his own verbal assault on Israel’s Jewish majority. (end of article)
The LORD bless you as you bless Israel by standing in defense of her right to exist on the land given to the Jewish people by the GOD of Israel.  Lets pray that Israel will turn back to their GOD.  Do not be silent, but share this with your fellow Christians, share it with your pastors, and with anyone you have a chance to speak to. Lets also pray for a breakthrough to the Muslims, and please remember to pray Divine protection for all of the soldiers in the IDF.

Shabbat Shalom ……  David & Josie

4. Fire Kites from Gaza Causing Serious Damage Inside Israel   INN News   June 3rd

Incendiary kites launched by Gaza Arabs Saturday caused a huge fire at the Carmia Reserve in the Ashkelon area. The fire raged for several hours and destroyed 75 acres (300 dunam) of the reserve’s total of 250 acres (1,000 dunam). Twelve firefighter teams and four fire aircraft extinguished the fire. Last weekend, fires broke out in more than 40 locations in the Gaza vicinity. Former Defense Minister Amir Peretz said “the kites from Gaza are not to be taken lightly. Even when the damage is to property, it is the livelihood of many farmers who have struggled all these years not to succumb to fear and risk and continue to cultivate their lands. “First, the property tax authorities must act quickly and pay compensation for all damages incurred. The government must invest all means to find a technological solution to this threat, and send a message to Hamas that it will pay a heavy price if it doesn’t prevent this growing problem,” Peretz added. A Gaza area resident tweeted video of fires raging in agricultural areas: Entire fields are burned, damaging agriculture, nature, and killing animals that are totally not part of this conflict.”  Pray that Israel will come up with a way to stop these fire kites from causing more damage to Israeli property

5. Axe Wielding Terrorist Killed While Crossing into Israel   INN News June 4th

Two Arab terrorists attempted to infiltrate into Israel Monday from the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip. The terrorists damaged the Israeli fence on the Gaza border, and attempted to cross over into Israeli territory near Kibbutz Nirim. Israeli security forces stationed along the border spotted the two terrorists and opened fire. One of the two terrorists was killed in the incident. IDF forces later found that the terrorist killed in the shooting was carrying an axe. The second terrorist was also shot while attempting to breach the Israeli border fence, but managed to escape capture. The failed attempt to infiltrate into Israel comes after more than two months of rioting on the Israel-Gaza frontier and attempts to breach the Israeli security fence. Tens of thousands of rioters in Gaza clashed with Israeli security forces along the border, hurling firebombs and burning tires at IDF soldiers while attempting to cut through the barrier and infiltrate into Israel en masse. Pray that any one who attempts to cross into Israel is eliminated

6. Gaza Medic No Angel   INN News   June 7th

The IDF pushed back today against Hamas claims that a female Gaza medic killed during border riots on Friday was was merely an innocent health worker. The medic was killed on Friday evening as thousands of Gaza rioters converged on the border. Gaza health officials subsequently claimed that she and other medics wearing white medical coats had approached the fence with their arms raised to evacuate injured rioters when she was shot. The IDF said that initial investigations of the incident found that the medic had not deliberately been targeted by Israeli soldiers.
“During an initial examination regarding the incident that took place on June 1st, 2018, in which a 22-year-old woman was killed, it was found that a small number of bullets were fired during the incident, and that no shots were deliberately or directly aimed towards her,? the IDF said. On Thursday, an Arabic IDF Spokesperson  tweeted a video which indicated that Najjar had actually played an active role in the riots. Commenting on the video, in which the medic is seen being interviewed and throwing a grenade, Adraee wrote in Arabic, ?The medic is not the queen of mercy, as Hamas is trying to present her. She admitted that she served as a human shield for rioters, and this proves how Hamas exploits all members of Gaza society for its goals and those of Iran.?
?Do other paramedics around the world throw grenades and participate in riots, and call themselves human shields?? he asked.
Pray that the world is made aware of the truth of these false claims by Hamas that are designed to turn people against Israel

7. Israeli Politician Rebukes Peers at Moscow Conference

MK Yoel Razvozov who is today taking part in a Moscow conference responded to claims against him by the parliament chairmen of Qatar and Indonesia. The two attacked Israel at the opening of the conference, against the background of the security conflict and tension between Israel and Hamas in Gaza. The Qatari chairman accused the “Zionist occupier” of “illegal actions and violating international law, and blamed Gaza residents’ situation on Israel. The Indonesian parliamentarian called on the 80 countries and 500 members of various parliaments attending to “support the Palestinians against Israel’s crimes,” as he put it. Israeli parliamentary delegation head MK Razvozov slammed the statements made by the two men, saying that for years Gaza vicinity residents have lived as hostages of a terrorist organization, an organization that does not stop firing rockets and bombs at Israeli communities, digging tunnels to kidnap soldiers and murder civilians, and creating new methods of terror.”You’re hypocrites. There’s no such thing as good terror. Hamas is trying to murder citizens of Israel – and you, even here at the conference, are defending it. There are thousands of children, residents of the Gaza perimeter, who don’t know any other reality. Reality without alarms and constant fear for their lives. The IDF doesn’t carry out any military action without Hamas first attacking. “Israel has the right to defend itself. We expect the international community and you, members of parliaments from around the world, to denounce and condemn the Palestinian terrorist organizations, headed by Hamas, and to take every possible means to stop them from their murderous activities,” said Razvozov.
Pray that the world will wake up to the reality if the situation in Gaza and that Israel is not the aggressor, and that Iran and Hamas are responsible for those killed and injured
