Guest Comment: Some things are definitely happening in God’s Plans – by Errol Francis (NZ)
Jeremiah 31:27-28  Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man and the seed of beast. And it shall come to pass, that as I have watched over them to pluck up, to break down, to throw down, to destroy, and to afflict, so I will watch over them to build and to plant, says the LORD.

In the past prophetic speakers said that within a generation Yeshua would be physically back on earth and they counted that generational time in two ways from 1948. Forty years: but Yeshua did not come in 1988. Seventy years: so Yeshua may come in 2018. Many such speakers also teach that the seven year tribulation will proceed Yeshua’s return. So by the 70 year plan the tribulation should have started in 2011, but we have not seen anti-christ or a new temple yet.

Far more important than making dates and predicting various end time events: is observing what God has done and is currently doing. The biblical prophets accurately described how Israel would be restored to their land and then spiritually renewed. Phase one, restoration to the land, is obvious and President Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital is like a cap stone to that process. The Messianic Movement which few had heard of before 1967 is rapidly growing and even traditional rabbis are at least discussing, Yeshua might be the Messiah. In 2017 during Yon Kippur, I saw News clips with senior rabbis saying when Messiah comes he will bring redemption to Israel and the world. This indicates a shift from Messiah will just be a human with great leadership skills: to bring redemption He must be able to do what on YHVH can do, forgive sins.

Here is an amazing summary of what has been happening: quote from ICEJ News 21st December 2017.

Never in my lifetime can I recall a period with so many remembrances of key historic events related to Israel?s rebirth. They also are significant markers for the Church and the nations. This includes: 50 years of a reunited Jerusalem, 70 years since the UN plan for a Jewish state, 70 years since Israel?s independence, 100 years since the Balfour Declaration, 100 years since General Allenby liberated Jerusalem from Ottoman rule, 120 years since the First Zionist Congress in Basel convened by Theodor Herzl, 150 years since Sir Charles Warren discovered the ancient City of David.

For 70 years Israel has struggled with the Palestinian issue, offering compromises for peace and building walls for safety. Constantly we have heard many lies about: if Israel just gave up East Jerusalem, there would be peace. In the last week PA President Abbas, took the lid of the truth, telling the world that: all along they would never recognise a Jewish State and allow them to have a capital in Jerusalem. Now no longer does the Knesset have to bow to The PA hoping to find the right peace recipe. YHVH’s paln can advance without more compromises. America’s recognitions for Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and the defunding of UNRWA: is a major step forward to see Israel prepared to receive Yeshua as their Redeemer and Messiah. Some Church leaders and secular Jews may not yet agree. What we need to put our faith in is that: the veil and scales on the blinkered eyes of those who do not understand will soon be removed.

For until this day the same veil remains un-lifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ. 2 Corinthians 3:14-16  But even to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart. Never-theless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.

Reversing this situation is potentially the next and biggest thing to occur in modern Israel’s history.  Romans 11:23 -24 And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, who are natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?

My hope and yours must be founded on the promise of Zachariah 12:10, And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look unto Me whom they pierced.

There are many Christians who believe that when we the Spirit of YHVH moves in Israel renewing Jewish hearts, that we will see it happening within the Church and the World as well.

The LORD bless you as you bless Israel by standing in defense of her right to exist on the land given to the Jewish people by the God of Israel.  Lets pray that Israel will turn back to their God.  Do not be silent, but share this with your fellow Christians, share it with your pastors, and with anyone you have a chance to speak to. Lets also pray for that breakthrough to the Muslims, and please remember to pray Divine protection for all of the soldiers in the IDF.

Shabbat Shalom ……  David & Josie

1. PM Netanyahu & President Trump on Jerusalem   World Israel News   Jan 19th

US President Donald Trump rejected statements made by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in India that the US Embassy will be moved to Jerusalem by the end of the year. ?By the end of the year? We?re talking about different scenarios ? I mean obviously that would be on a temporary basis. We?re not really looking at that. That?s no,? Trump told Reuters in an interview. However, he did emphasize that plans to relocate the embassy to the Israeli capital are ongoing and ?beautiful.? Sources in the Prime Minister?s Office responded by claiming that Trump and Netanyahu are on the same page. ?The president and the prime minister are not saying anything different,? an official in the PMO said. He acknowledged that construction of a new embassy could take years, although PM Netanyahu believes the US is considering interim measures that would result in the opening of an embassy in Jerusalem much sooner, albeit on a temporary basis. Last month, US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said that relocating the embassy could take 3 years if not longer.?It?s not going to be anything that happens right away.? Pray that the US and other embassies are relocated to Jerusalem as soon as possible.

2. Fatah Denies Ever Recognising Israel     World Israel News   Jan 19th

Peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians failed numerous times. Was the Palestinian Authority ever a true peace partner? Fatah Central Committee member Al-Haj Ismail Jaber, speaking on official Palestinian Authority (PA) TV, made a point of clarifying that it has never, ever recognized Israel. Fatah, the PA?s ruling party, is headed by PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas. The newscaster had asked Jaber about the widely reported revocation of the PA?s recognition of Israel, to which he stated adamantly that there never was such recognition, despite the fact that Fatah is a part of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO). Pray that the peace process based on a 2 State solution will never be restarted

3. World on a Collision Course With the GOD of Israel     Bill Koenig ( White House correspondant)

The belief that Bible prophecy is allegorical and not literal is leading the world on a collision course with the God of Israel, who through the Abrahamic Covenant, gave to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and their descendants the land of Israel for an everlasting possession. (Genesis 15:18, Genesis 17:8 and Genesis 48:4) According to ?The Encyclopaedia of Biblical Prophecy? by J. Barton Payne, there are 1,239 prophecies in the Old Testament and 578 prophecies in the New Testament, making a total of 1,817.  These prophecies are contained in 8,352 of the Bible?s verses. Since there are 31,124 verses in the Bible, the 8,352 verses that contain prophecy constitute 26.8 percent of the Bible?s volume. Replacement Theology teachings and writings began in 2nd and 3rd Century to teach that Bible prophecy is allegorical and not literal. This error has led to 18 centuries of Jewish persecution, anti-Semitism, the Crusades, the Spanish Inquisition, the Holocaust and today?s BDS (boycott, divestment and sanctions) movement. Today, 100 million church attendees in America, and 1 billion worldwide do not know of the Biblical significance of the State of Israel or the times that we live in. Pray that the Church and the world wakes up to the Biblical truth of Israel and the times we live in.

4. US Vice President Arrives in Israel     Times of Israel News   Jan 23rd

US Vice President Mike Pence addressed Israel’s Knesset on Monday, and he said all the right things, if you’re Israeli, that is. Pence told his Israeli hosts that the US Embassy would move to Jerusalem by the end of 2019, that the Trump Administration would never let Iran obtain nuclear weapons, and that it is pressing the Palestinians to return to peace negotiations on Israel’s terms.
There was an overabundance of praise for Pence’s speech from Israeli leaders. Internal Security Minister Gilad Erdan gushed that “we are fortunate to have merited to hear his solemn and moving words,” which Erdan called “historic” and “moving.” “Today is an exciting day,” said the minister, before describing Pence as “a great leader who really loves us with all his heart, not as a politician, but out of deep faith and understanding of the role and mission of the Jewish state.” Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked added her appreciation for Pence’s “very Zionist” speech. Needless to say, Israel’s Arab antagonists were less thrilled. In fact, the Arab members of Israel’s Knesset interrupted Pence just as his speech began. After they were ejected from the plenum according to Knesset protocol, Pence had the perfect response. “It is deeply humbling for me to stand before this vibrant democracy,” said the vice president, highlighting the fact that, contrary to accusations of apartheid, eve the most hostile of Israel’s citizens are free to voice their opinion. Pence then continued to hitting back hard at his detractors: “To have the great honor to address this Knesset, the first vice president to be afforded that privilege, here in Jerusalem, the capital of the State of Israel.” Pray that the USA will never change its position on Jerusalem being the capital of Israel and the relocation of the US embassy will go ahead as planned in 2019.

5. Two Terrorists Killed in Attack on Israeli Border Post     INN News    Jan 23rd

Two Palestinian terrorists who attempted to stab Israelis at the Tapuach Junction in Samaria on Tuesday were shot and wounded by Border Police securing the area. No Israelis were harmed in the attack. A border police officer at an observation point noticed two suspects approaching a bus station at the Junction, a Border Police statement said. The suspects ignored orders to halt. ?At that point, one of the suspects drew a knife and rushed toward the soldiers,? the statement read. The officers responded by firing at the assailants? legs, thereby neutralizing them. Both received first aid at the scene and were evacuated to a hospital for further treatment. The terrorists were arrested and will be questioned by Israeli security forces. The Tapuach Junction has been the site of a number of previous terror attacks. In related news, Israeli forces carried out counter-terror operations on Monday night throughout Judea and Samaria, arresting eight Palestinians wanted in connection with terrorism. IDF forces also uncovered an M-16 assault rifle during an operation to thwart an illegal weapons sale in Hebron. Pray that all planned terror attacks will be uncovered and prevented

6. European Union Pledges to Support Jerusalem as Captial of a Palestinian State    World News Israel    Jan 23rd

The European Union pledged its support Monday for Palestinian Authority chief Mahmoud Abbas? vision of a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital. On Monday, PA chairman Abbas met with the European Union Foreign Affairs High Representativei in the EU capital in Brussels, in a bid by the PA leader to win recognition for Palestinian statehood from the 28-member European body. The trip, which coincides with Vic President Mike Pence’s 3 day visit to Israel, is part of a larger effort to circumvent the US, the traditional broker of PA-Israel negotiations, and push to take a more active role in the Middle East. On Sunday, the PA?s foreign affairs chief said that the ?rules of the game? had been fundamentally altered by President Trump’s decision to recognise Jerusalem as the Israeli capital. “Since Trump’s decision has altered the rules of the game, he (Abbas) expects the European foreign ministers to come forward and collectively recognize the state of Palestine as a way to respond back to Trump’s decision,” he said. “If the Europeans want to be a player then they have to be fair in their treatment of both parties and this should start with the recognition of the state of Palestine.? Pray that the European Union, which is totally anti YHVH, meets the same fate as the Tower of Babel very soon

7. Gaza Family Kills One of its Members for Aiding Israel    Times of Israel News    Jan 19th

A Palestinian family said it had killed one of its members Friday after Gaza?s Hamas rulers said he aided Israel in killing three of the terrorist group?s commanders. The family said in a statement that a relative shot Ahmed Barhoum dead, but did not say which family member pulled the trigger. It said they followed developments in the Hamas investigation and believed their son was guilty. The family noted the relative was arrested and interrogated by the ?resistance,? meaning he was detained outside the Palestinian litigation system. There was no immediate statement from Hamas. The Hamas commanders were killed near the end of the 50-day war with Israel in 2014 during an airstrike on a house. Hamas has executed dozens of Palestinians for collaboration since seizing Gaza in 2007.
