David’s Comment:  The Greatest Miracle Since the Resurrection of Yeshua
Ezekiel 37:12- 14  Therefore prophesy and say to them, So says the Lord JHVH; Behold, O My people, I will open your graves and cause you to come up out of your graves, and will bring you into the land of Israel.  And you shall know that I am YHVH when I have opened your graves, O My people, and have brought you up out of your graves. And I shall put My Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. And you shall know that I YHVH have spoken and have done it, says JHVH.

If you have attended a meeting where I have spoken, you probably hear me say that the “restoration of Israel is the greatest miracle the world has seen since the resurrection of the Son of YHVH.” You may have also heard me correct myself, saying that “I now realise that GOD is not restoring Israel after all.” We can pray for a sick person and if the LORD wills, they can be restored. But you can not restore a dead person – it must be resurrection. The Land of Israel and the Jewish people were not sick – they were dead for almost 2000 years. However, there are now 6.5 million Jews living in Israel today and the once dead land is producing copious quantities of the best tasting fruit and vegetables in the world. A dead land and a ‘dead’ people have come back to life. Its not restoration, its resurrection. If the restoration of sick person is a miracle, then the resurrection of a dead land and 6.5 million ‘dead’ people is indeed the greatest miracle the world has seen since the resurrection of Yeshua.

Josie and I hope that you found that video as inspiring as we did. To really understand why the resurrection of Israel and the Jewish people is so exciting, we must have the revelation that it is the hand of GOD at work. YHVH is bringing all that He spoke through the Hebrew prophets to fulfillment, in preparation for Heaven to release His Son to return to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem (Acts 3:21). Yeshua will be crowned King of Kings and Lord of Lords, ruling over His Father’s Kingdom for 1000 years, before the new Heaven and Earth replace the present ones. All the signs point to the fact that
the 2nd Coming is not far off, but Israel and the Jewish people must be fully restored and ready to welcome the Messiah back with the words from Matthew 23:39 – Baruch ha bah b Shem Adonai – Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.

Although most of the Church does not see the absolute centrality of Israel in GOD’s plan to restore His Kingdom on the Earth, the Devil and the hordes of Hell do ! That is why we see what we see taking place in the Middle East and in many other parts of the world. The Kingdom of Darkness is very aware that the resurrection of Israel is the strongest sign that these are  the End Times and his time is short. Satan is using Islam, the media, political leaders and even parts of the Church, in a final, desparate attempt to abort the plan of God to re-establish His Kingdom in Jerusalem.

I believe this is the reason for the extremely high level of tension over the Temple Mount over the last few weeks. The focus of much of the world has once again turned to that very small piece of land that YHVH has established as His eternal address on the Earth. The situation has calmed down since PM Netanyahu bowed down to external pressure and removed all of the new security machines and cameras, but the tension is still simmering under the surface, and could re-ignite at any moment. If we are in Jubilee year, as many people believe, then this may be the time that GOD is preparing to return the Temple Mount back to full Israeli control. This has to happen before Yeshua returns. In 2 Thessalonians 2, we read that the Man of Sin sits in the Temple of GOD.

One thing we can be sure of – things are about to get much worse, before they get better. And we all have a part to play, to fulfill the call to be GOD’s fellow workers (1 Cor 3:9) and to hasten the day that Yeshua is released from Heaven (2 Peter 3:12). We best fulfill that call by recognising the miraculous resurrecting of Israel, and making Israel the priority in our prayers, and standing in bold solidarity with Israel and the Jewish people, as all of the venom of Hell is released against GOD’s Land and His people.

The LORD bless you as you bless Israel by standing in defense of her right to exist on the land given to the Jewish people by the God of Israel.  Lets pray that Israel will turn back to their God.  Do not be silent, but share this with your fellow Christians, share it with your pastors, and with anyone you have a chance to speak to. Lets also pray for that breakthrough to the Muslims, and please remember to pray Divine protection for all of the soldiers in the IDF.

Shabbat Shalom ……  David & Jose

1. PM Netanyahu Explains Removal of Security on the Temple Mount   Times of Israel  July 30th

Prime Minister Netanyahu has defended his decision to remove controversial security measures at the Temple Mount, saying it was not an easy choice and vowing to push ahead with a plan to boost other security measures at the sensitive holy site. In comments made before the weekly cabinet meeting at the Prime Minister?s Office in Jerusalem, Netanyahu said he had ordered the measures rolled back over concern for Israel?s overall security, after weeks of violent protests by Palestinians boycotting the site. Polls showed much of the public did not support the decision to remove the measures, which were put in place after a deadly terrorist attack carried out with guns smuggled onto the Temple Mount, and many saw it as a ?capitulation? to Muslim authorities seeking to exert control over the flashpoint Jerusalem compound. ?I am attentive to public feeling,? Netanyahu said, referring to Israeli outrage over the removal of the detectors. ?With that, as the Prime Minister of Israel, as the one who carries on his shoulders the responsibility for the security of Israel ? I must make decisions coolly and judiciously. I do that out of a view of the big picture, a wide view of the challenges and threats that are facing us. Some of them are not known to the public and as is the nature of things I can?t go into details.?

While the arrangements at the Temple Mount have gone back to the way they were before the July 14 attack ? as demanded by officials from Jordan?s Waqf Islamic trust, which administers the site ? Netanyahu said that he had already ordered a boost in the security presence in the Old City and that the cabinet had approved a NIS 100 million budget to finance the new measures including the purchase of unspecified new equipment. ?In recent days I ordered an increase in the security forces at the Temple Mount and in the Old City, in order to prevent terror attacks and rioting and also to act firmly against lawbreakers,? he said. The security cabinet said last Tuesday it would replace the metal detectors with ?advanced technologies,? referring reportedly to cameras that can detect hidden objects, but said the process could take up to six months. Waqf officials have already said that they would not accept the installation of the new cameras. After thanking the security forces for their service, Netanyahu also issued a warning ?to our enemies on all fronts: the IDF, the Shin Bet, and the Israel Police are all ready to act with full force against all those who try to harm our citizens, our soldiers and our police. That is how we have acted in the past and that is how we will act in the future.?  Pray that full control over the Temple Mount will be returned to Israel in GOD’s perfect timing.

2. PM Netanyahu Calls for Death Sentence for Killer of Family – PA Will Pay Him More than One Million US Dollars    Jerusalem Post  July 30th

PM Netanyahu this week paid a visit to the Salomon family who lost three family members in a brutal terrorist attack on Friday 21 July 2017, in their home in Halamish and told them he believed the killer deserves to be executed. “It is time to implement the death penalty for terrorists,” Netanyahu said to the family. “It is already in the law book, requiring a unanimous decision by the judges. My position as prime minister is that in this case, with such a loathsome killer, he needs to be executed. Simple. So that he doesn’t smile anymore.” Netanyahu was referring to the testimony of Tova Salomon who said the terrorist Omar al-Abed smiled before he started stabbing her and family members.

The killer will almost certainly be sentenced to more than 30 years in prison. According to the Palestinian Authority compensation law, this entitles him to $3,364 each month, four times what the average Palestinian earns. That’s $40,368 a year, or $1,211,040 for 30 years. Imagine there was a government-sponsored program in America that paid you a million bucks every time you murdered members of another ethnic group. In 2016, 11% of the PA’s budget – $500 million – came from the USA. (Tablet) Pray that Palestinian aid allocations from the USA and Europe will be drastically cut until this abominable practice is ended.

3. IDF Sieze Vehicles Purchased With Terror Funds    INN News July 30th

Israeli security forces have seized several cars from the family of a Palestinian terrorist who carried out a deadly 2015 shooting attack vehicles paid for with Hamas compensation, the army said Sunday. The West Bank raid was part of a continuing crackdown by Israeli authorities against funding for Palestinian terrorists and their families. The vehicles, estimated to be worth tens of thousands of shekels, were financed using cash Hthat amas gave the families of the terror cell that killed Eitam and Naama Henkin in a drive-by shooting in October 2015.  At least four of the terrorists came from families living in Nablus. The Henkins were driving with their four young children ? the oldest was nine years old at the time ? on the road between the northern West Bank settlements of Elon Moreh and Itamar when they were ambushed as their car slowed down at an intersection. Four days later the IDF arrested four members of a cell over the shooting. In June 2016, all four were convicted and sentenced by a military court to two life terms and 30 years in prison each. The money paid to the families was intended to be used to rebuild the terrorists? homes that were demolished by security forces after the attack, the statement said. Each of the families has so far received tens of thousands of shekels, the IDF estimated. Legislative efforts are under way in Israel and the US to cut funding to the PA if the payments continue. In other over-night operations Saturday to arrest suspects in the Jenin refugee camp, 10 IEDs were thrown at security forces, the IDF said. Forces fired back with non-lethal weapons and identified two suspects who were apparently hit by the munitions. Overall, 15 suspects were arrested in the West Bank for involvement in popular terror activities and violent rioting, the statement said. Pray that all funding to the PA will be cut off if they continue to pay terrorists

4. Israelis Call for Rebuilding of the Temple   Israel Today News   Aug 1st

Last Monday evening marked the beginning of the Jewish fast of Tisha B’Av, which commemorates the destruction of the First and Second Temples. Thousands of Israelis participated in an annual march around the walls of Jerusalem’s Old City, with a special focus on the Temple Mount. Though it is Judaism’s holiest site, Jews are still not allowed to pray there due to threats of Muslim violence.
Government officials participating in the march noted that the people of Israel are seeking much more than just the right to pray atop a Muslim-occupied Temple Mount. They want the Third Temple.
“Everyone who came here tonight proved with his feet that we want the Temple back – and quickly,” said Deputy Defense Minister Eli Ben Dahan. More than 1,000 Jews ascended the Temple Mount on Tues. 1 August 217, during the annual Tisha B?Av fast, commemorating the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple nearly 2,000 years ago. Unlike Muslim visitors to the Mount, who are permitted to pray at the holy site and are not required to undergo any security check to enter, the Jewish visitors were required to pass through metal detectors, submit to security searches, and agree not to engage in prayer while visiting the Temple Mount
. Continue to pray that full control over the Temple Mount will be returned to Israel

5. Machmud Abbas Funding Jerusalem Riots  Arutz 7 News    Aug 1st

The Palestinian Authority is offering cash and other incentives to Arab residents of Jerusalem to encourage conflicts in the Israeli capital and violent attacks against Israeli security forces, media sources reported.. Among the benefits being offered by the PA are cash payments of $1,000 a month for up to three months. According to the report, the cash payments have been offered to all employees of the Waqf, the Islamic trust which manages the Temple Mount, as well as all Arab merchants in the Old City of Jerusalem. The PA has also promised to cover tuition for Arab college students in the Old City who participate in anti-Israel riots. In addition, PA Chief Abbas has invested millions of dollars preparing local Arab hospitals for future clashes with Israeli security forces and refurbishing Arab-owned properties in Jerusalem. The grants are intended to cover damages, expenses, and other losses of local Arabs incurred by continued rioting. Abbas has also promised citations and awards for the most active rioters. Rioting began in and around the Old City of Jerusalem after three Israeli-Arab terrorists murdered two Israeli Border Police officers near the Temple Mount on July 14th. Pray that Mahmoud Abbas and the Palestinian Authority?s unchecked incitement to violence against Jewish civilians and Israeli security forces will be exposed and blocked.

6. Terror Attack in Israeli Supermarket    Times of  Israel News   Aug 2nd

A Palestinian teenager stabbed an Israeli man, critically wounding him, at a supermarket in the central Israeli city of Yavneh on Wednesday morning, police said. After initially saying the motive was unclear, police eventually said the stabbing appeared to have been a terror attack. The stabber was captured by civilians, who held him down until police arrived. He was later identified by the Shin Bet security service as a 19 year old from the West Bank village of Yatta. The 43-year-old victim, who worked at the supermarket, was stocking shelves with paper towels on one of the aisles, paying no mind to the teenager who walked past him. Suddenly the attacker turned around, took out a knife and began viciously stabbing the supermarket employee in the upper body. Though injured, the victim fought off the terrorist and tried to run away from him, blocking the aisle after him with a handcart. The victim could then be seen running to a nearby aisle, and out of frame, with the assailant chasing him. He suffered stab wounds to the chest, neck and head and was in unstable condition, according to medical officials. Pray for supernatural recovery of the victim and that the terrorist will be give the maximum sentence.

7. Shaky Calm Returns to Jerusalem   Medialine News

Tensions have partially dissipated in Jerusalem and Judea & Samaria, following a weekend of clashes between Muslim worshipers and Israeli security forces over the ongoing Temple Mount/Al-Aqsa Mosque crisis. Palestinian leaders warned that the conflict was not yet over, however, despite Israel having removed metal detectors and other security infrastructure placed at the compound in the aftermath of an attack by three Israeli Muslims that killed two police officers. While Islamic religious leaders ended a two-week boycott of the complex on 27 July 2017, they nevertheless complained of new restrictions barring entry to those less than 50 years old; a move implemented by Israeli authorities meant to prevent the likelihood of further violence. For its part, the White House described the prevailing conditions in Jerusalem?s Old City as ?contained,? a sentiment echoed by Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman, who also reiterated that his government ?acted correctly? during the ordeal. Pray that peace holds for now but also that the process to return the Temple Mount to full Israeli control will continue

8. Israel’s Health Sysytem Ranks as One of the Best Globally   INN News Aug 1st

A recent study ranked Israel’s health care system as the ninth-best in the world, the UK’s Business Insider reported. The research, conducted by the London-based Legatum Institute listed three basic components of health: availability of preventive care, health infrastructure, and citizens’ physical and mental health. 149 countries were included in the comparison, with Israel listed in the top ten. Israel received the highest health rating in the Middle East, and its citizens have a life expectancy of 82.5 years – eighth highest in the world. The country’s single-payer, multiple-provider system ensures that every citizen receives health coverage, yet insurance providers must compete in order to draw clients and receive funding. In Jan. 2016, Israel ranked as the world’s eighth most powerful country, and in May of that year, the country’s average life expectancy was declared fifth highest in the world. In June 2016, two of Israel’s universities ranked in Asia’s top 20, and six made the top 200. Earlier this year, Israel ranked fourth in the list of best countries for expats.
