Guest Comment: No Alternate Truth in the Kingdom of God by Errol Francis (New Zealand)
John 8:32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
John 14:16 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
Adding to David’s comments of August18th: “The Gospel of Yeshua”, has often been meddled with and had alternate truths inserted. There are supposed Christians in the West and Arab communities: who say that “after the death and resurrection of Yeshua, God the Father turned away from the Jewish People”. From that time on there has been no particular Chosen People or Promised Land, God’s Kingdom has been equally given to all nations. And the entire world is now the promised lands. I agree that salvation has been offered to the gentiles, but cannot agree that the Jews have been rejected and lost all rights to the land of Israel. That files in the face of: For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. Romans 1:16
There are two untruths spread about the Last Supper and the New Covenant that Yeshua made ……..
First untruth: that He was covenanting with the first Apostles of the Church and because He had in preceding days spoken of the temples’ destruction, that He was then overturning all previous covenants to Israel. This cannot be true in light of. “And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written……… Concerning the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but concerning the election they are beloved for the sake of the fathers. For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable”. Romans 11:26–29 (abridged). Neither is it true that once the day of Pentecost came that the natural Israel replaced with the new spiritual Israel of God (Galatians 6:16). We need to note that at Pentecost the gospel was preached to a mainly Jewish crowd. “Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst Acts 2:22
In fact instead of Jews having to become church members from then on, Gentiles when they receive the gospel are grafted into the Commonwealth of Israel and all the promises of God are then jointly available to all. “Being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ…….. so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace”. Ephesians 2:12-15 (abridged) This agrees totally with the unnatural and natural branches being grafted onto the olive trunk in Romans 11. BUT it does not mean that Gentiles become Jewish, ethnically or spiritually at conversion. We are however “One in Messiah” ie. united in our faith and allegiance to Him.
Second untruth: that the New Covenant promised to Israel in Jeremiah 31:31, is not the New Covenant that Yeshua made in the Last Supper. Some claiming that the Jeremiah Covenant only comes about in the Millennium when the Messiah rules Israel enabling them keep the Mosaic Covenant in newness and correctly. Between Hebrews 8:5-13 the wording of Jeremiah 31 is quoted and expanded. The point being: that a covenant for salvation by works has been replaced by a Covenant of Salvation by Grace. A New Covenant which forgives Israel’s sins and the Gentiles’ sins both now and forever. A sub-set of this untruth: is the concept that God has a different plan for the salvation of the Church and the Jews. So that after the pre-tribulation rapture of the Church, God returns to dealing with Israel by the Laws of Moses, beyond which He gives Israel material blessings on earth while the Church’s blessings are all spiritual and in heaven. I do not believe that scripture indicates any early rapture and divided destinies for Israel and the Church. This last concept is refuted, in the New Jerusalem: Revelation 21:12 has the names of the tribes of Israel engraved on the gates. While Revelation 21:14 has foundations which are the Apostles of the Lamb. We are all there together in the same place at the same time! Also in the promise to: pour out the Holy Spirit on all flesh in the last days. It does not say all flesh, except, the Jews or Israel!
Another untruth that is circulating is that: Jewish People, who now believe in Yeshua as the Messiah and are following Him, are not saved or born again. And that they will be left behind when the Church is raptured. If a Jewish person has come to the truth that Yeshua is their Messiah, there is more to it than that they just have an anticipation that He will return as a great leader to give Israel a golden age of prosperity. Many Orthodox rabbis teach that Messiah will bring the nation’s redemption from sin as well as great leadership, so far they do not see Yeshua and Calvary as their redemption: BUT those Jews embracing Yeshua now do most definitely accept His atonement, which does make them saved. Many such Jews describe themselves as born again Jews! The Bride of Messiah is the Bride of Christ and vice versa.
The LORD bless you as you bless Israel by standing in defense of her right to exist on the land given to the Jewish people by the God of Israel. Lets pray that Israel will turn back to their God. Do not be silent, but share this with your fellow Christians, share it with your pastors, and with anyone you have a chance to speak to. Lets also pray for that breakthrough to the Muslims, and please remember to pray Divine protection for all of the soldiers in the IDF.
Shabbat Shalom …… David & Josie

1. Terror Attack on Saturday Afternoon Times of Israel News Aug 20
Israeli Border Police officers shot and killed a young Arab as he tried to stab one of them at a flashpoint West Bank junction on Saturday, police and medics said. One officer was lightly wounded in the incident. The terrorist approached the officers standing at the Tapuah Junction in the northern West Bank. When they called on him to halt, he pulled out a knife and tried to attack them. He was shot and killed, police said. One officer was lightly wounded in the leg and was being treated by IDF medics and the Magen David Adom rescue service. Medics initially said the officer had been stabbed, but later said it appeared that he was wounded by shrapnel from the shots fired. He was taken to a Hospital in Petah Tikvah for further treatment. The Tapuah Junction has been a frequent site of stabbing attacks in recent months. Police said the attacker was a 17-year-old from the West Bank city of Tul Karem. Since September 2015, mainly Palestinian assailants have killed 48 Israelis, two visiting Americans, a Palestinian man and a British student, mainly in stabbing, shooting and vehicular attacks. In that time, some 260 Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire, a majority of them attackers. Pray for all planned terror attacks to be exposed and prevented
2. Iran Building Missile Factory in Syria Medialine News Aug 16th
Israeli television reported on 15 August that Iran is creating a facility in northern Syria to build long-range missiles. It broadcast satellite photographs of a plant under construction just west of the Mediterranean coastal town of Banyass and compared it to shots of another facility – one located near the Iranian capital of Tehran – that is nearly identical to the new one. The latest imagery fuels the ongoing argument over the 2015 Iranian nuclear deal which Tehran insists is not violated by the new facility while the Trump administration is actively adding new sanctions against Iran. The new plant is expected to be the chief topic of discussion when senior Israeli intelligence officers meet with their counterparts in Washington this week. Addressing the American moves, the Iranian President warned that his nation?s nuclear program can be put back on track in no time at all and at a more advanced level than before if the USA continues to impose sanctions. Pray for global astuteness and divinely conscripted strategies to come into play in order to avert and dismantle the threat Iran is to Israel and the nations.
3. Hamas Gets a Taste of Terror Israel Today News Aug 19th
Hamas popularized the use of suicide bomb attacks as a more effective way of murdering Israeli men, women and children. So it was with a small degree of satisfaction that Israelis learned at the weekend that a top Hamas commander in Gaza had been killed by an ISIS suicide bomber. The attack occurred on Thursday morning along the Gaza-Egypt border. Four members of a local ISIS cell were trying to cross from Gaza into the Egyptian Sinai when they were apparently stopped by both Hamas security personnel and the Egyptian military. One of the ISIS terrorists later identified as Mustafa Kullab then detonated his bomb vest, killing the Hamas commander and wounding five of his men. Kullab was revealed to have been a former Hamas member who was apparently left disillusioned by the group. His victim was a member of Hamas’ “elite” forces and commander of the snipers’ division. Pray that ISIS does not get any closer to Israel’s borders and that any ISIS plan to infiltrate Israel will be a total failure
4. Israel & USA Take Stand Against UN List of Israeli Companies to Boycott Un
Israeli and US officials have expressed outrage over an upcoming United Nations Human Rights Council report that would establish a database of Israeli and international companies operating in Jerusalem, the Golan Heights, Judea and Samaria ? areas several countries deem ?occupied? by Israel. In the latest development, the UNHRC has reportedly completed the list of companies on a blacklist. The list is slated to b e published by the end of the year. The panel has no power to levy sanctions or otherwise punish companies, but opponents of the list say it could put pressure on the UN Security Council to follow up and could be used is a weapon by advocates of boycotts against Israel. Israel?s Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon reacted harshly to reports, calling the blacklist a ?shameful expression of modern anti-Semitism, and reminds us of other dark periods in world history.? Danon stated on Monday. ?Instead of focusing on the terrible humanitarian problems plaguing the globe, the Human Rights Commissioner is seeking to harm Israel, and in doing so has become the world?s most senior BDS activist.? He called on the UN, and the international community as a whole, to ?halt this dangerous policy and put an end to this anti-Israel initiative.? According to media reports, the Trump administration is exerting behind-the-scene pressure in an attempt to thwart publication of the list. Pray that the new UN president will ordered the UNHRC to cancel this list
5. Hamas Summet Camps Train Young People to be Terrorists Arutz 7 News Aug 20th
Hamas held a closing ceremony in Gaza last Friday for 120,000 boys and girls attending the terrorist group?s summer schools. The ceremony, for some 1,000 students who took part in the camps was framed as part of the group’s plan to continue its armed conflict with Israel. Boys between 15 and 18 years of age were put through military drills, including shooting with live ammunition and training in scouting skills. A Hamas official said the training came within the framework of “preparing for the liberation of Palestine. We are trying to invest the younger generation and guide them towards the liberation project,” he told media sources, referring to armed struggle against Israel. Hamas? so-called ?military wing?, the Izz Al-Din Al-Qassam Brigades, regularly trains children at its camps on military skills, such as use of weapons, and also simulates the kidnapping of Israeli soldiers. Hamas has previously launched a program to teach ?resistance? to Israel in Gaza?s public school system. Pray for the children of Gaza to be rescued and released from this hellish agenda for their lives. Pray for God’s better plan to come into place.
6. PM Netanyahu Discusses Iran with President Putin Israel Todat News Aug 24th
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu met with Russia?s President Putin on Wednesday in the Russian resort town of Sochi to discuss how Iran?s ?accelerated? presence in Syria threatens the Jewish state and the Middle East. Netanyahu was joined in Sochi by the director of the Mossad intelligence agency, and the recently appointed leader of Israel?s National Security Council. ?Mr. President, with joint efforts we are defeating Islamic State, and this is a very important thing,? Netanyahu told Putin. ?But the bad thing is that where the defeated Islamic State group vanishes, Iran is stepping in.? ?We cannot forget for a single minute that Iran threatens every day to annihilate Israel,? he said. ?It arms terrorist organizations, it sponsors and initiates terror.? Netanyahu also noted that the Islamic Republic is ?well on its way? to controlling not only Syria, but other countries in the Middle East, including Iraq, Yemen and Lebanon. Pray that Israel and Russia can work together to stop Iran’s plans to attack Israel
7. Chinese Enrollment at Israeli Universities Skyrockets Jerusalem Post Aug 19th
The influx of Chinese students at Israeli universities has been growing steadily in recent years. On the forefront of this enrollment boom is the University of Haifa, which currently boasts some 200 Chinese students among its student body, compared to 20 in 2013, representing a 1,000% increase. University of Haifa president Ron Robin welcomes the addition. ?The cooperation with strategic partners from Chinese industry and academia serves the strategic goals of the university,? said Robin. ?As such, we welcome all the Chinese students to Israel, and intend to continue to deepen the ties and cooperation with the Chinese academy.? This past March, PM Netanyahu and Economy Minister Eli Cohen were present when Robin, along with the Hangzhou Wahaha Group and the Institute of Automation at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, signed a $10-million deal that finalized the construction of three Israeli-Chinese artificial intelligence technology centers in Haifa, Hangzhou and Beijing.
